Broken iCloud reminders are the latest reason to delay your iOS 13 upgrade

Apple’s bumpy rollout of iOS 13 has hit another roadblock in the form of major iCloud Reminders issues. Since the release of Apple’s mobile OS update last week, some users have reported problems trying to sync notes to the revamped Reminders app, which Apple redesigned this year to feature a new look and feel and some more robust organizational features. Other users are reporting missing lists or entirely deleted reminders, names of lists resetting to defaults, dates and times not transferring properly, and other syncing errors.

Even Apple itself admits that reminders won’t sync across devices properly unless every single machine you use is running the latest software. Yes, that includes macOS Catalina, which isn’t out yet, in the event...

Apple and Samsung dominate top selling phone lists for 2019

The iPhone 11’s second place position was particularly impressive, given the phone was only on sale for just over three months in 2019. However, there were large disparities regionally, with a Samsung phone winning Europe, and an Oppo holding the top spot in China. The disparity between the top sellers in North America and Europe is particularly striking. In the former, Apple completely dominated. Amazon now lets you tell Alexa to delete your voice recordings

Amazon is making it a little bit easier to delete Alexa recordings today with a pair of new voice commands. You’ll now be able to say, “Alexa, delete everything I said today,” and the assistant will wipe all of the recordings it stores on Amazon’s servers. Amazon says another command, “Alexa, delete what I just said,” is in the works as well. Until now, you’ve either had to go into the app to delete Alexa recordings one by one, or you’ve had to go through Amazon’s website in order to delete every recording at once.
